Overview
Responsible for supporting the coordination of all aspects of logistics – primarily, shipment of goods and equipment Internationally, while meeting commercial requirements and deadlines, and in full compliance with internal and external procedures, processes.
Key Responsibilities
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Reviews all packing lists for equipment and products and verifies that all information is completed and correct
- Directly interacts with customs documents and assists with customs formalities at products or equipment receipt
- Ensures accuracy of the inventory according to predefined procedures and that all stock and tool movements are recorded in the IT system
- Ensures continuous updates of internal database on job referencing and assigning tasks to job numbers
- Administrative tasks for all aspects of shipping, mobility, purchasing and inventory. Includes data input, stock counts, reporting, process reviewing and cost analysis
- Prepare accurate reports and continuously improve process and communication methods
Experience
- High School Diploma - Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Experience in organizing and coordinating 0-3 years
- Customer service experience 0-3 years
- Experience with shipping and inventory control preferred.
- International logistics experience - a plus.
- Working with little supervision and track multiple processes 0-3 years
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact with various departments
- Problem solving and critical thinker
- Strong IT Skills
