Ontario Hockey Academy Maintenance

Drop off application to Ontario Hockey Academy 1541 Vincent Massey Drive, Cornwall, ON.
Weekdays 10am to 3pm

Duties:
Every day offers variety and challenge, from troubleshooting facility systems to ensuring our gardens and grounds look their best.

Indoor Maintenance Duties:

  • Perform general repairs on building systems and equipment
  • Conduct drywall repairs, painting, and carpentry work
  • Routine preventive maintenance on infrastructure (plumbing, HVAC)
  • Maintain and service rooftop HVAC units
  • Collaborate with staff

Outdoor & Grounds-keeping Duties:

  • Landscape maintenance including lawn care, gardening (hedges, flowers etc), raking, and leaf blowing
  • Snow removal and salting during winter months (on-call rotation required/snow plowing experience is an asset)
  • Use and maintenance of power tools and yard equipment

Required Qualifications:

  • Physically capable of handling the job demands (lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing, kneeling, working outdoors in all seasons)
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong team player
  • Reliable, safety-conscious, and committed to doing quality work
  • Valid Ontario driver’s license
  • Able to complete required safety training

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Day, evening and weekend work
  • Must supply Criminal Record Check.
  • Must be currently able to work in Canada or hold a Canadian employment visa.

Term: Begin August 2025

Salary: $22 + per hour, based on experience.
