About the role
About The Role As a Demand Generation Specialist (ads and offers), you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and business impact for our merchant partners by leading advanced demand generation and performance marketing activities within our Restaurants vertical. You will collaborate closely with Uber Eats Commercial Teams to identify, develop, pitch, and implement ads & offers solutions that meet merchant objectives, and drive the adoption of an expanding suite of ad offerings across our Mobility and Delivery platforms. This role will partner with Enterprise merchant partners across Canada, from SMB Hero accounts to the largest Strategic ENT brands, working to unlock ads/offers investment.
What You'll Do Identify and Manage Opportunities: Partner with Uber Eats Commercial Team to analyze merchant, platform, and category insights to identify demand generation opportunities within their book of business
Manage pipeline in Salesforce, ensuring accurate tracking of deals, contracts, and opportunity progress
Develop And Pitch Create a comprehensive plan featuring holistic product solutions that meet merchant objectives
Lead advanced pitches, including discovery, value narrative, objection handling, and budget recommendations
Serve as a subject-matter expert on new products, advanced questions, and technical specifications, tailoring value propositions accordingly
Campaign Management Coordinate with both Uber Eats Commercial Team and Ads Operations to ensure proper campaign execution and operational efficiency
Monitor campaign performance and budget utilization, and provide optimization recommendations to merchant partners
Support in reporting campaign outcomes to increase retention / growth, and address and resolve billing issues in collaboration with Ops teams / merchants
Internal Collaboration Work with business, product, and eng teams to provide feedback on product features and improvements based on customer needs (VOC)
Coordinate with other technical teams to ensure smooth implementation and integration of specialized products (Operations, Marketing, Uber Eats Commercial Team, L&D, etc)
Basic Qualifications 5+ years of full-time experience in an advertising or related sales role
Experience in a client facing position
Understanding of media KPIs and terminology
Preferred Qualifications Ability to analyze data, review results, draw insights, and propose recommendations
Experience in a quota carrying position, preferably with a large book of business where prioritization and scaling processes was required
Excellent negotiation, forecasting, communication, and problem solving skills
Speed, resourcefulness, and a go-getter mentality who can navigate ambiguity and build relationships with multiple internal/external stakeholders
For Canada-based roles: The base salary range for this role is CAD$96,500 per year - CAD$107,250 per year. You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award, sales bonuses & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
