About the role
We're seeking exceptional, experienced Security Supervisor with OFA 3/ Advanced First Aid Guard for our high-profile Remote camp site near Vanderhoof. This opportunity promises a professional environment and competitive wages as part of our commitment to a living wage.
Hours of work: 12-hour shifts, 14 days on 14 days off
Wages: $33.33 per hour plus a potential 4% uplift
Transportation: Not a fly-in fly-out (FIFO). The worksite is accessible via shuttle bus service provided by the client from Prince George or Vanderhoof. You would be responsible for arranging transportation to either of these cities. The time spent traveling on the shuttle is paid.

What you would do:
- Lead and respond confidently in emergency situations, ensuring timely organization and direction.
- Maintain up-to-date emergency protocols, contact lists, and knowledge of SOPs and post orders.
- Monitor access points, investigate unauthorized access, and enforce site security policies.
- Oversee site operations, maintain equipment, and ensure officer compliance with regulations.
- Mentor and assess officer performance, providing training and corrective action as needed.
- Maintain professional communication with the client and submit timely reports.
- Represent the company professionally and handle additional tasks as assigned by management or the client.
- Maintain a logbook, conduct regular radio check-ins, and fulfill security report writing duties.
- Provide a visual security presence, detecting and deterring unauthorized persons.
- Conduct site safety visits and recommend security improvements.
- Ensure compliance with all workplace safety protocols and regulations.
- File accident reports, participate in safety meetings, and oversee toolbox talks.
- Adhere to Securiguard's core values, vision, and mission statement.
What you would bring:
- Valid BC Security Worker License
- 2 years of security experience in a Site Supervisor or in a site lead capacity
- Previous experience in Advanced First Aid (previously OFA 3).
- Demonstrated experience supervising, coaching, and mentoring a team.
- 3+ years of experience in the security industry.
- Strong communicator who leads with empathy and a listening mindset.
- Strong customer service skills
- Post secondary education in law enforcement or security is an asset.
- Intermediate Computer Skills
