About the role
We’re seeking a high-performing Senior Paid Media Strategist (or Senior Paid Media Strategist ) to own the strategy, execution, and growth of some of our largest paid media accounts. You’ll act as the lead for performance marketing—managing planning, budgeting, optimization, and reporting across paid social, paid search, and display for high-growth e-commerce clients. This role reports directly to the Head of Paid Media Analytics.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives at the intersection of performance marketing and client strategy. You’ll collaborate closely with our Paid Media Strategist – Creative to bring campaigns to life, using performance data to inform where and how we scale.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and own all aspects of paid media strategy, execution, and optimization across paid channels—driving account growth, efficiency, and innovation.
- Partner directly with the Head of Paid Media Analytics to co-lead strategy, execution, and reporting for the agency’s largest accounts.
- Own media planning, budget allocation, and pacing across channels and campaigns, leveraging historical data and forecasting to align investment with client growth goals.
- Act as day-to-day lead and trusted advisor for key accounts—presenting strategies, performance, and actionable recommendations directly to clients and internal teams.
- Monitor performance and proactively surface insights—identifying trends, uncovering new testing opportunities, and optimizing toward revenue-driving KPIs.
- Partner closely with a Paid Media Strategist – Creative to align creative, messaging, and performance data—ensuring every campaign is scroll-stopping and delivers strong results.
- Develop client-facing reports, summaries, and presentations that tell a clear, compelling story of performance and next steps.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with strategy, creative, technical, SEO, email/SMS teams to ensure paid media efforts align with broader business and brand objectives.
- Stay ahead of platform and industry changes, quickly integrating new features, policies, and opportunities into your approach.
What You’ll Bring
- 4-5+ years of direct, hands-on experience managing paid media campaigns in an agency or e-commerce environment.
- Ability to independently manage complex paid media budgets ($100K+/month), forecasts, and pacing across multiple channels.
- Proven track record of full-funnel management across at least two major ad platforms (Meta and Google are a must).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze performance data, identify trends, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- Experience directly leading client relationships, presenting performance updates, and owning strategic recommendations.
- Strong grasp of brand voice, digital storytelling, and how to apply both in a performance marketing context.
- Expertise in Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Meta Ads Manager.
- Self-starter mentality with excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.

- Experience with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms
- Familiarity with advertising on Pinterest, TikTok, Bing, or Criteo
- Experience briefing creative or collaborating on asset development
- Experience with Looker Studio, TripleWhale
