Reporting to the Director, Capital Governance and Investments, the advisor is responsible for financial monitoring, control, and reporting of the non-corridor equipment refurbishment program (NCIP).

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for ensuring the financial monitoring of capex expenditures for the NCIP program;
  • Review and comment on the business case analyses of the program's projects, validate adherence to established budgets, and determine the impact on operational expenses;
  • Track monthly variances against budgets and forecasts, and produce various analytical reports to support presentations to various internal committees;
  • Develop financial reporting tools that meet the various needs of the teams;
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and project governance, and guide project managers in financial best practices.

Requirements:

  • Recognized accounting title (CPA) - (Asset) or relevant experience;
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial analyst position. Experience in project financial tracking is an asset;
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office suite;
  • Proficiency in English and French (oral and written);
  • Knowledge of the Oracle financial system is an asset.
