Your Opportunity
The Quesnel office is looking for an energetic team player to work with our archaeology team, supporting with administrative and equipment needs. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, detail-oriented and enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment. Primary duties are logistics and administrative support to field crews and equipment management support (including maintenance, updating, and cleaning). Additional duties as required.
This an hourly, casual position and the standard work week is approximately 20 hours.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Administrative Support
- Support on general project logistics, flights and accommodation
- Support project managers and staff with timecard and expenses reports
- Ensuring office and first aid supplies are purchased and maintained
- Assist with office event planning and meetings
- Provide orientations for new staff
- Provide support with equipment, including electronics devices (SPOT, InReach, Sat phone) and fleet vehicles (trucks)
- Additional duties as assigned
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Solid working knowledge of excel, word and outlook
- Ability to work alone or with minimal direction
- Experience with or willingness to learn devices like SPOT or InReach
- Experience with travel logistics
Education and Experience
Experience with travel logistics and equipment management would be ideal
Experience with MS Office Suite
This position will involve some local travel but will primarily be based in the local office. Some overtime may be required depending on project demands. Confidence when driving in inclement weather and road conditions. Ability to lift and move items and equipment up to 50 lbs.

Pay Range:
- Locations Outside of Lower Mainland - BC - Min Salary $ 44,300.00 - Max Salary $ 59,800.00
Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
