Senior Tax Consultant

Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Senior Tax Consultant to support our client's corporate tax function. This role focuses on tax reporting, compliance, planning, and research across federal and provincial corporate income tax, payroll tax, and related areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare quarterly and annual tax provisions and disclosures under IFRS.
- Complete corporate income tax returns and regulatory filings.
- Support tax planning, forecasting, and analysis of legislative changes.
- Liaise with internal teams, auditors, and tax authorities.
- Assist with audits and maintain compliance with internal controls.
Qualifications:
- CPA Canada designation is a must.
- 5+ years of progressive tax/accounting experience; 2+ year in corporate income tax.
- Experience with IFRS, ERP systems (SAP preferred), and advanced Excel.
- Completion of CPA In-Depth Tax or MTax is an asset.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
