Possession of a valid applicable provincial/territorial, or Interprovincial Red Seal Journeyperson Trade Certificate in one or more of the following:

- An applicable military QL5 qualification or higher.
- NOTE: A military qualification of QL5 or higher will be accepted for the purpose of being eligible to be placed in a pool or inventory. However, for some locations, the applicant will be required to obtain Journeyperson Certification in the applicable trade prior to a term or indeterminate appointment.
Degree equivalency
Experience EX1: Experience in repair, maintenance, inspection or installation of systems and equipment related to the trade(s) to be filled

Current and acceptable driver’s abstract.
Strict adherence to the Department of National Defence and Canadian Forces Code of Values and Ethics, Values and Ethics Code for the Public Sector and Directive on Conflict of Interest, and Defence Administrative Orders and Directives (DAOD) 7021-1, Conflict of Interest .
Candidates must meet and maintain the conditions of employment throughout their employment.
