Medicine Hat College’s School of Arts, Science, and Education invites applications for a part-time Instructor in Religion for the Fall 2025 and Winter 2026 semesters at our Medicine Hat Campus.
A little about the role:
We are seeking a candidate with graduate-level studies in Religion to teach RELI 201 (World Religions: Western) in person during both semesters. Relevant teaching and research experience in Religious Studies or social and/or cultural anthropology will be considered an asset. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion and commitment to student learning, strong interpersonal skills, the ability to collaborate effectively within the Humanities and Social Sciences faculty, and a keen interest in academic research and scholarship.

As a successful applicant you'll have:
- Master’s Degree in Religious Studies or Sociocultural Anthropology required
- Post-secondary teaching experience and/or research background in social and/or cultural anthropology will be considered an asset
- Other relevant post-secondary teaching experience will be considered an asset
- Willingness to be part of a dynamic and collaborative team that focuses on student success
- Strong Communication skills and computer literacy
