TEACHER POSTING No. 202 5- 23 Temporary 1.0 Fte Elementary Teacher Required KYUQUOT ELEMENTARY SECONDARY SCHOOL Effective September 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026 or the return of the incumbent School District 84 engages in preferential hiring of self-identified First Nations applicants in all positions in accordance with section 42 (Special Programs) of BC's Human Rights Code.

- Assessment and Coaching: The ability to utilize balanced assessment and feedback to improve student learning including the use of formative and summative assessment strategies;
- Collaboration and Teamwork: The ability to collaborate with others to achieve group goals and objectives;
- Caring and Inclusiveness: The ability to create and maintain a caring, inclusive and supportive environment for all students;
- Flexibility and Adaptability: The ability to demonstrate flexibility, to adjust and to adapt to changing circumstances.
Teaching assignment may include, but may not be limited to :
- Elementary Generalist - Prep coverage, Fine Arts, PHE
The successful candidate will be :
- willing and flexible to teach other subjects and in an outdoor setting as required;
- be physically capable to perform the duties of the position.
Essential Qualifications
- Valid BC Certification with the TRB with qualifications and experience at the middle or high school level, preferably in a multi-grade classroom.
