About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Loan Consultant to join our team and play a key role in helping our clients achieve their financial goals. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong financial analysis skills, a client-first mindset, and experience handling complex loan applications.
You’ll provide expert advice on loan products, manage high-value client relationships, and guide applicants through the end-to-end lending process — from application to post-loan management. You’ll also contribute to business development, regulatory compliance, and team collaboration.
What You’ll Do
- Advise clients (including high-net-worth individuals and businesses) on suitable loan options
- Build strong referral networks and identify new lending opportunities
- Promote relevant banking products through a holistic, client-focused approach
- Review and assess loan documentation, financial statements, and risk profiles
- Ensure full compliance with legal, regulatory (AML, KYC), and internal requirements
- Manage loan renewals, modifications, disbursements, and daily reporting
- Support junior team members and collaborate with internal stakeholders
- Help maintain excellent client service standards and satisfaction
What You Bring
- Post-secondary education in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in loan consulting or processing
- Strong understanding of credit, lending policies, and compliance frameworks
- Advanced skills in financial analysis and documentation review
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Relevant certifications are a plus (e.g., Lending/Banking Certificates)
