Job Overview :
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laboratory Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support laboratory operations by performing various tasks that ensure the efficient functioning of the lab. You will work closely with laboratory staff to assist in sample collection, processing, and data management, contributing to the overall success of our medical services.
Location: This job is for Travel Lab Assistant and the job location will be different.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the collection and preparation of specimens for analysis.
- Perform phlebotomy procedures as required, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Maintain accurate records of samples and test results.
- Conduct basic laboratory tests under the supervision of qualified personnel.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and laboratory standards.
- Help maintain laboratory equipment and supplies, including inventory management.
- Support data entry and analysis tasks to assist in research and reporting.
Skills
- Proficient understanding of medical terminology related to laboratory practices.
- Experience working in a hospital or clinical laboratory setting is preferred.
- Strong phlebotomy skills with a focus on patient care.
- Familiarity with laboratory procedures and protocols.
- Excellent data analysis skills to assist in interpreting test results.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
