As a Master Data Technician, you will play a critical role in the accuracy, consistency, and quality of data used across critical business functions. Under the supervision of the Master Data Program Manager, you will be responsible for entering, validating and updating master data in SAP, in line with data governance policies and best practices in place. You will actively contribute to the reliability of business processes by ensuring the integrity of product, supplier, customer and price data, while working closely with internal teams to meet operational needs.
As Master Data Technician, You Will Have To
- Collect technical information needed to create or modify items, bills of materials, and product lines, in collaboration with engineering, procurement, sales, and marketing teams.
- Perform manual data entry into SAP using standardized forms and templates.
- Ensure compliance, accuracy and consistency of data according to established governance rules.
- Process requests to create or modify master data (products, suppliers, customers, price terms, etc.).
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of data management processes, by pointing out discrepancies and suggesting adjustments.
- Participate in internal data quality audits (audits, follow-ups, spot validations).
- Maintain clear and structured documentation of data entry and update procedures.
- Provide day-to-day support to internal business partners in the use or interpretation of SAP data.
What Makes You An Asset To Our Team
- Diplôme d’études collégiales (DEC) en administration, en technologie de l’information, en génie industriel, en documentation ou dans toute autre discipline pertinente liée à la gestion des données ou des processus.
- De 1 à 3 ans d’expérience pertinente, idéalement en environnement manufacturier utilisant un ERP (SAP un atout).
- Forte rigueur et souci du détail dans la gestion des données.
- Bonne compréhension des systèmes ERP, notamment SAP.
- Bilinguisme (français/anglais) requis, à l’oral et à l’écrit.
- Bonnes capacités d’analyse et d’organisation.
- Aptitude à rédiger des procédures de façon claire et structurée.
- Excellente capacité à collaborer avec différents services (multifonctionnel).
- Maîtrise des outils Microsoft Office.
- Autonomie, polyvalence, sens des priorités et orientation client.
