NATURE AND SCOPE
This position will report to the Store Manager and is responsible for delivering a positive and on-brand experience in the Stormtech Factory Outlet. This role supports the Store Manager in all essential duties, including placing special orders, inventory orders, receiving all units into the POS system, and management of customer and store repairs. This role leads by example in providing exceptional customer service and demonstrating brand selling skills to maximize sales and optimize the customer experience in the store.
SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES
- In conjunction with, or in the absence of management, guide the daily operations for the store and activities of hourly associates to accomplish excellent customer service and to maximize sales.
- Responsible for opening and closing the store.
- Complete special orders for customers and management of incoming orders.
- Coordinate with the Repairs Team on all customer and store repair requests, ensuring timely follow-up and documentation.
- Perform sales, customer service, merchandising, cashier, stock location, and related store up keeping support duties to maintain needed staff coverage and to lead by example.
- Maintain orderly appearance of sales displays, help with restocking and other merchandizing.
- Participate in and help lead Team Huddles alongside Store Manager: Daily communication of sales goals, average transaction targets, promotions etc. clearly defined goals and expectations.
- Maintain, train, and lead staff on “best practices” and on the customer experience Stormtech strives to deliver.
- Ensure safety procedures are followed.
- Responsible for merchandise management and overseeing product flow from back of house to shop floor by managing product quantity checks weekly.
- Run daily sales report for staff to replenish sales floor.
- Maintain and update records of store inventory.
- Responsible for all RA’s (returns to warehouse, customer special orders, customer, and store repairs).
- Stay current with industry pricing and product trends.
- Creation of price tags, hold tags, special order tags, when necessary.
- Liaise with accounting team for any POS discrepancies.
- Liaise with IT team to ensure that systems are up and running.
- Check and respond to email and phone messages as required.
- Other ad hoc duties.
