POSITION DESCRIPTION
This role works closely with REDI Canada staff, instructors, industry and educational partners, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to produce engaging, high-quality designs for online and in-person courses, videos, websites, marketing collateral, and social media platforms. The ideal candidate balances creativity with a detail-focused and collaborative approach to their work.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work independently and with team members to conceptualize and produce graphics that align with brand & partner guidelines.
- Demonstrate attention to detail to translate project objectives and briefs into strong, error-free products.
- Work collaboratively to incorporate leader and stakeholder feedback and revisions to designs when appropriate.
- Share your recommendations for best-practices and sustainable approaches to effective design.
- Liaise with staff, partners, and instructional designers to produce marketing collateral and educational images, resources, and templates.
- Manage design needs such as presentations, special requests, course graphics, and marketing templates.
REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma or degree in Graphic Design with a minimum one year of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Extensive knowledge of Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign & Acrobat
- Extensive knowledge of social media platforms: LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram
- Strong layout, typography, proofing, and organizational skills
- Motivation to contribute to strong design standards and processes.
- Experience managing multiple projects and adapting to changing priorities.
- Experience exercising professional discretion and confidentiality
- Experience designing for online learning platforms is an asset (Articulate 360, D2L)
- Knowledge of and interest in the real estate industry in Alberta and Canada is an asset
- Knowledge of and interest in adult learning including instructional design, adult learning theory, curriculum development, and post-secondary administration is an asset
Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract, Casual, Freelance
Pay: $25.00-$37.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
