About the Role
PowerCo Canada Inc. is seeking a skilled Senior Financial Steering Expert to join our team for the battery cell production lines in St. Thomas. In this role, you will be responsible for proposing, developing, supervising and creating operation management tasks to achieve the goals of mass production planning in PowerCo Canada, taking into account pre-planned costs, investments, environmental requirements, energy efficiency and deadlines as well as the standards and specifications applicable within PowerCo Canada.
This is a flex hybrid work structure, where employees can work both remotely and on-site at our St. Thomas location.
Key Responsibilities

Independently propose financial and economical solutions and support for the achievement of goals in planning/Value Stream Management (VSM) department

Independently propose financial management and optimization processes for CapEx and OpEx
-
Lead the activities of proposing project specific measures, manage project opportunities and risks
-
Develop project budget forecasts/trends, communicate with other departments including PowerCo Headquarter, project management
-
Prepare and visualize the data for presenting and communicating with leaderships
-
Lead the discussions with other process partners to control and optimize the project budget
-
Track the targets with project milestones, identify the opportunities and risks before and during the implementation

Document the issues and lead the efforts in finding optimized solutions
What you bring to the Team
-
Master's Degree in Economics, accounting, finance, business management, or other relate areas
-
10+ years of professional experience in Economics, accounting, finance, business management, or other relate areas
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills: Essential for analyzing complex financial data and identifying trends.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Needed to effectively communicate with stakeholders and collaborate with different teams. -
Experience with financial modeling and forecasting: Used to analyze potential scenarios and make informed decisions.

Strong visualization and presentation skills: Able to use multiple tools for data presenting and visualization, including PowerBI
-
Strong risk awareness: Strong sense to identify potential project risks, and work with other stakeholders to propose solutions
-
Performance Monitoring: Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), analyzing financial data, and preparing regular reports for various stakeholders.

Be international: have experience and can comfortable work in a very diverse and international environment

Results-Oriented: Setting goals, prioritizing tasks, and consistently delivering high-quality results.

Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy and completeness in all reporting and analysis.

Prior experience on project management is preferred

3+ years of public accounting experience is preferred
