About the Position:
Walters is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable accounting/payroll professional to join our team for a 1-year contract with potential for permanent fulltime employment. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the Time & Attendance Administrator will be responsible for but not limited to:

Assisting with distribution of statements.

Assisting with collecting statements of accounts.
-
Data entry and setting up new hires for various different groups within the company.
-
Ensuring correct data and codes are assigned within Microsoft Dynamics GP.

Posting of weekly and bi-weekly timesheets to ensure smooth payroll processing.
-
Assisting with registering new hires into ADP Workforce Now.

Assisting with general inquiries for payroll and accounting related questions.
Work Location:

Head Office: Hamilton, ON.
Position Requirements:
- 1-3 Years experience in accounting/payroll (Manufacturing industry experience a strong asset).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Skills and Competency Requirements:

High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

Effective communicator with strong analytical critical and creative thinking skills

Self-motivated and able to work independently and collaboratively as required
Compensation Package:

Negotiable wage based on experience.
