The Enterprise Audit group is seeking Senior Accountants to join its dynamic team.
KPMG’s Audit practice helps clients manage risk so they can focus on their core business. By understanding each client’s operations, you’ll help turn information into insights that uncover opportunities to improve efficiency and performance.
What you will do
- Apply KPMG’s audit and accounting methodologies during client engagements
- Conduct external and internal financial statement audits for public and private companies
- Lead field engagement teams and support the development of junior team members
- Analyze complex accounting issues and provide practical solutions
- Perform financial and systems analysis to support audit conclusions
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Deliver high-quality service that helps clients assess risk and enhance transparency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement
As an Audit professional, you’ll play a critical role in helping clients assess risk and enhance transparency across their operations—delivering insights that build trust and drive informed decision-making.
What you bring to the role
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field is essential
- Successful completion of the CFE and/or working towards a CPA designation
- Post-graduate experience with a public accounting firm is an asset
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent client service skills with an aptitude to understand the clients' business and maintain strong client relationships
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Experience with Canadian accounting frameworks such as IFRS, ASPE, NPO, and/or Public Sector
- Previous SOX/PCAOB audit experience is an asset
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex financial data and identify key insights
- Applies technical expertise to deliver practical, client-focused solutions
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
