As part of a major construction project (over $500M), we are seeking an experienced Interface Manager to ensure the meticulous coordination of technical, contractual, and organizational interfaces between the various construction packages, EPC partners, the client, and external stakeholders.
What You Will Do
- Coordination of interfaces between construction packages (civil, mechanical, electrical, etc.) to ensure technical and scheduling consistency throughout the project
- Representation of the company in interface committees involving the client, stakeholders, and other EPC contractors
- Proactive identification of critical interface areas and facilitation of coordination meetings
- Prevention of cost and schedule impacts, for both the company and the client
- Proposal of technical and organizational solutions in cases of conflict or deviation, with a focus on cost reduction and schedule preservation
- Preparation of clear summaries and regular reporting to the project management team
- Implementation and monitoring of interface management tools (interface matrices, action plans, etc.)
This role could be for you if you have
- Education: Degree in construction engineering, civil engineering, industrial engineering, or equivalent
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years working on large-scale projects, ideally in an EPC environment or major industrial/infrastructure sites
- Excellent synthesis and communication skills
- Strong rigor in document management and action tracking
- Diplomacy, political awareness, and customer-oriented mindset
- Proficient in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, Excel, etc.)
- Familiarity with contractual standards and challenges related to simultaneous activities (co-activity)
