We are dedicated to providing personalized, high-quality care to our patients and building long-lasting relationships within the community. We’re currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team full-time and help support the smooth operation of our pharmacy.
Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Pharmacy Assistant to join us in a full-time capacity. The ideal candidate must be available to work on evenings and weekends. In this role, you will support our pharmacists with prescription preparation, inventory management, and patient service, playing an essential part in delivering an exceptional healthcare experience to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in accurately preparing and dispensing medications
- Maintain pharmacy inventory, including ordering, receiving, and organizing stock
- Process prescription orders and verify patient and prescription information
- Provide friendly and informed customer service at the counter and over the phone
- Coordinate with healthcare providers as needed to support patient care
- Perform administrative duties such as data entry, filing, and phone management
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
Qualifications & Requirements
- No prior experience required – full training will be provided
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work well in a busy, team-oriented environment
- Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends as needed
- A positive, professional attitude and a willingness to learn
