About the Role

As our Service Manager, you'll be the go-to leader for a dedicated team of technicians, welders, and parts specialists. You’ll play a hands-on role in managing day-to-day operations, ensuring preventative maintenance is on track, vendors meet our standards, and the shop runs like a well-oiled machine.

You'll be responsible for coaching and mentoring your team, keeping schedules on point, managing service programs, and ensuring compliance—all while driving continuous improvement and maintaining a strong safety culture.
What You’ll Do

Lead, coach, and inspire a high-performing team in the shop.

Coordinate training and development to grow team skills.

Monitor and update daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance schedules.

Oversee PM and tire programs to ensure regulatory compliance and reliability.

Manage vendor relationships and support procurement activities.
-
Keep accurate records, review repair orders, and maintain inventory levels.
-
Support building and yard maintenance by coordinating with vendors.
-
Contribute to continuous improvement and cost-efficiency projects.
What You Bring
-
Red Seal Certification (310T or 310J) is an asset.

Post-secondary education or equivalent hands-on experience.

Proven leadership in a maintenance or fleet environment.

Strong organizational and process management skills.

A keen eye for detail and a drive for improvement.

Confidence working with data, systems, and compliance requirements.

A collaborative, safety-first approach with a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude.
