Job Description:

Fanshawe Athletics and Recreation is currently recruiting for energetic and dedicated full-time students to join our team for the Fall 2025 Term.

Important Details :

  • Term: Mid-August/September–December 2025 (with potential for extension/renewal for Winter 2026)
  • Shifts: May include evenings and weekends
  • Location: On-campus only (no hybrid work)
  • Training: Full orientation and training will be provided in all cases as required
  • Eligibility: Must be a full-time Fanshawe College student
  • Previous customer service or manual labour experience would be an asset

The following opportunities are available:

1) Recreation Athletic Assistants, 15 - 40 positions (Approx. 24 hours per week)
Description: Customer service, oversee Recreation activities and tournaments, maintain equipment inventory

2) Photographer, 1 - 5 positions (Approx. 15-20 hours per week, Sport Dependent)

Description: Capture photos at Varsity and Recreation events, edit photos

3) Videographer, 1-5 positions (Approx. 15-20 hours per week, Sport Dependent)
Description: Capture/edit/create video footage from Varsity and Recreation events

4) Promotions Assistant, 1 - 5 positions (Approx. 15-20 hours per week, Sport Dependent)
Description: Content creation for Fanshawe Athletics social media accounts, other duties related to promotions

5) Varsity Game Announcer, 1 - 5 positions (Approx. 5-10 hours per week, Sport Dependent)
Description: Announcer at home Varsity games/events

6) Graphic Designer, 1 - 3 positions (Approx. 24 hours per week)
Description: Create/design content to be used for promoting Fanshawe Athletics

7) Varsity Trainer/Manager, 10 - 20 positions (Approx. 24 hours per week, Sport Dependent)
Description: Provide support to Varsity teams, assistance at practices/games, additional tasks assigned by Head Coach

8) Varsity Event Staff, 5 - 10 positions (Approx. 24 hours per week)
Description: Responsible for setup/teardown of Varsity events and additional tasks related to facility maintenance

9) Minor Officials, 5- 10 positions (Approx. 10-15 hours per week, Sport Dependent)
Description: Responsible for scorekeeping, time clock, shot clock and statistics for varsity games/events
