Be a part of the Longevity Acrylics Team. We are currently hiring General Labourers to work in our manufacturing facility. As a team member you will assist in the manufacturing of our bathtubs, showers and tubshowers for the Canadian market, while adding value to our brand through your knowledge.

Duties

• Assist machine operators in manufacturing products
• Transport raw materials, parts, finished products, and packaging materials throughout the plant and warehouse manually
• Mark, record and report defective products
• Roll out spray material on acrylic shell to achieve uniformity, proper adherence and good appearance using due care to prevent breakage
• Grind or polish surfaces using abrasive tools
• Adhere to established safe working procedures and wear the proper safety equipment at all times
• Maintain a clean working area free from dirt and debris between tasks and at end of the day

Requirements

• Ability to work in a hot, humid and noisy environment
• Ability to carry heavy objects (50lbs), walking, stooping, kneeling, standing for long periods of time and other physically demanding conditions
• Ability to perform strenuous physical labour and repetitive
• Must be able to understand and communicate in English (written and verbal)
• Demonstrated ability to operate material handling equipment
