 Create Production Backgrounds based on provided BG Keys.

• Provide clean line work with accurate perspective, correct interpretation of the animatic, correct scale of bg elements and provide proper space for characters within the bg.

• Provide colour painting of the production bg by accurately matching the blend modes, adjustment layers, tints, etc., from the BG Keys.

• Merge layers correctly in preparation for the Harmony scene that efficiently provides layers for use in animation (e.g., layers based on Underlay, Overlay, mid ground and background elements).

• Adjust backgrounds based on notes from leads, supervisors, and directors.

• Ensure backgrounds match the show’s established style, lighting, and perspective.

• Handle sequences of varying complexity, from simple to moderately difficult.

• Collaborate with leadership, production, and team members to ensure backgrounds integrate seamlessly with animation.

• Engage in dailies, rounds, and team discussions, contributing to creative and technical improvements.

• Adhere to pipeline workflows, file organization, and technical specifications for efficient production.

• Maintain consistency in quality while meeting production needs.

• Manage time effectively, working with production to stay on schedule.

• Keep the team and production staff informed about progress, challenges, and solutions.
