Behaviour is looking for a Technical Designer Intern to actively contribute to the development of an exciting new game, created in collaboration with a renowned external partner. You’ll be able to bring your creative and technical skills to the table by working closely with a multidisciplinary team to design and refine tools that will power a cutting-edge gaming experience, tied to a thrilling and well-known brand.

To be considered for this internship, you must:

  • Be able to work 37,5 hours/week for 4 months starting in September 2025.
  • Be eligible to work FULL TIME in Canada (in Quebec or Ontario) at the time of your application.

In this role you will :

  • Provide clear and detailed technical documentation to the design team.
  • Follow the production pipeline of features, applying technical guidelines and best practices.
  • Develop core game features, working with other disciplines to tackle technical challenges.
  • Act as a technician for specific design related topics, providing troubleshooting and support the team by debugging and optimizing yours and others work.
  • Identify the need for design tools, working with programmers on their implementation and ensuring the smooth deployment to the design team.

What we're looking for :

  • Studies in the relevant field.
  • Technical skills and knowledge of game engine.
  • Proficient with visual scripting tools (Unreal Blueprints, Unity Bolt).
  • Experience with scripting (C#, C++, etc.) is a plus.
  • Experience with prototyping is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English, French is a plus.
