Sheet Metal Designer/Programmer
About the role
Hayley Industrial Electronics Ltd. is a Calgary based manufacturing company and recognized leading supplier of industrial electronics and sheet metal enclosures. We design, manufacture, market and service all of our products. Our facilities are clean, well-organized and focused on quality and consistency which we also expect from our staff members.
We are currently seeking a Sheet Metal Designer/Programmer for permanent full time positions.
Responsibilities:
· Must be able to read and interpret blue prints
· Must be able to design and program sheet metal parts from scratch
· Must have good understanding of bend allowances
· Must have a good understanding of fasteners, hardware and mild steel 20GA to 10GA
· Autocad knowledge is a must, solid works is an asset
· Knowledge of Trumpf Trutops and Boost is an asset
· Production control documentation must be updated as required
· A good understanding of CNC Brake and Turret is an asset
Previous experience in the above areas is required, but some specific on the job training will be provided.

Education:
- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
Experience:
- AutoCAD: 1 year (required)
