Job Overview:
We’re looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Receptionist to be the face of our clinic. As the first point of contact for our patients, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring a positive experience from check-in to check-out. This position involves both front desk duties and behind-the-scenes administrative support to keep the clinic running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients in a courteous, efficient manner
- Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and manage appointment bookings
- Process billing and record payments accurately
- Bill third-party insurance providers (e.g., WSIB, MVA) and collect patient co-pays
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception and clinic space
- Assist with administrative forms and paperwork
- Support the healthcare team with administrative duties as needed
- Support the clinical team with day-to-day administrative tasks
- Ensure patient privacy and confidentiality are always upheld
Qualifications:
- College/university education, diploma, certificate, or equivalent experience
- Prior experience in a healthcare or clinical setting is an asset
- Strong multitasking skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Professional, approachable, and committed to providing excellent service
- Competent with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); training will be provided for clinic software
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and highly organized
