The Opportunity
The Ministry is seeking a highly skilled and collaborative leader to provide strategic leadership and direction to the Information Technology Division (ITD) as Executive Director, Digital Platforms and Services. Reporting to the Assistant Deputy Minister (ADM) and as an integral member of the senior management team, this position will:

Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Information Technology Division;
-
Provide senior leadership to the Ministry and division;
-
Demonstrate exceptional leadership abilities through collaboration and teamwork;
-
Participate as an active member of the Ministry’s senior leadership team;
-
Uphold the Ministry’s values of respect and integrity, serving citizens, excellence and innovation, and acting as one team;
-
Engage a team dedicated to building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders; and
-
Develop and implement a strategic approach to economic development aligned with Saskatchewan’s Growth Plan.
The Executive Director, Digital Platforms and Services responsibilities will:
- Develop, oversee, and implement a digital transformation framework and strategic plan that supports the Saskatchewan Growth Plan and improves IT Service Delivery.
- Provide governance and oversight of information management, data protection, privacy management, and data quality.
- Lead the planning, development, and implementation of government-wide Enterprise Architecture, ensuring seamless integration, data sharing, security, and dependability.
- Establish government-wide digital technology and digital management policy directives.
- Advance the government's citizen-centred Service Excellence Program, including employee professional development and service design competency.
- Represent the Government of Saskatchewan on inter-provincial forums and oversee online public consultations.

Completion of an undergraduate degree in administration, commerce, economics or a related field of study, supplemented with extensive directly related experience in strategic planning and legislative and policy development; and

Extensive senior leadership experience with proven success leading a high-performing team.
