About the role

The Windsor-Essex Catholic District School Board currently has apermanent Elementary teaching position available for the 2025-2026 school year.

Application for this vacancy is available to individuals on the OECTA Occasional Teachers Roster who hold an Ontario Teacher's Certificate in Good Standing.

In accordance with OECTA Central Terms #17 Hiring Practices, (a copy can be found in the Google Drive: Occasional Teacher Information Folder);

The Board shall interview the three (3) applicants to the position who hold the required qualifications as recorded on the Ontario College of Teachers Certificate of Qualification;

Primary/Junior and French as a Second Language

As per 17.7.3 of the OECTA Central Terms #17 Hiring Practices, " In addition to the applicants from the Roster, a school board may choose, as one of the applicants to be interviewed a teacher employed as a permanent teacher elsewhere in the province who has applied for the posting."

All applicants have the ability to upload their portfolio to Apply to Education.

Application must be received electronically prior to the closing date. Only those applicants eligible for an interview will be contacted.
