Working as part of and reporting directly to Unilever which is a global consumer goods company known for its commitment to sustainability and a diverse portfolio of iconic brands. Key Responsibilities
Dove Female Masterbrand Retail :
- Working with the Senior Manager of Dove to lead Dove Masterbrand in retail – building upon what we have today and creating new opportunities in-store and in d-comm to generate greater iNSV when Dove activates at a total brand level across categories.
- End-to-end Dove cross-category tentpole shopper marketing programs including but not limited to – Superbowl, Mothers Day, Back-to-School, Dove Month, Holiday, etc.
- Adaptation of cross-category and cross-brand In-Store Visibility design for perfect OTIF execution across all key Canada retailers
- Purposeful customer partnership development and execution (for iNSV – 3-5 bespoke partnerships annually across key customers)
- Represent Dove purpose/Masterbrand with field teams and customers
- Creative and coordination for cross-category and scale couponing
- Dove gift packs end-to-end
- Coordination of executional elements for hero campaigns
- Collaborate with customer and retail teams to develop future purpose roadmap for customer selling stories
- Collaborate on Dove Self Esteem Program curriculum integrations and activations for customer partnerships
- Budget management and coordination of all cross-category retail executions (working closely with category teams across the Business Units)
- Coordination with Canada Digital Media Marketing team for key retail executions where needed
Engagement:
Purpose-related Engagement
- Work with the Senior Manager of Dove to successfully adapt and land all Dove female purpose campaigns in Canada (hyper focused on the Dove Self Esteem Project and Body Confident Sports Program): launch planning & deploy including KPIs, learning agenda, celebrity ambassadors, post launch evaluations; adapt and develop local agility campaigns for Canada where relevant
- Media plan/buy for MB purpose – 2-4 campaigns/yr
- Coordinate execution across One Dove NA specialists including PR, Influencer Marketing, Paid, earned and owned content, social listening/community management, etc.
- Adapt social-first content required for Canada media ecosystem
- Monitor: i) brand power ii) topical issues relevant to our strategy where possible
- Canada legal approval for all campaign content
Social Impact Responsibilities
- Partner identification & manage to deliver lives reached; Create/adapt curriculum to fill key gaps, working closely with One Dove NA Purpose lead based in the US
- Manage Canada budget (BMI); category allocations – requires deep coordination cross categories/BUs
- External orientation (represent brand with editors and panels/speaking engagements)
Influencer-marketing Responsibilities
- Coordinate with One Dove NA key specialists for execution of influencer marketing campaigns across categories in Canada with the ambition to drive culture at Scale
Desired Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of experience in a combination of customer, marketing communication / engagement and/or operational roles
- Experience with communications/campaign planning and execution including media planning and 360 activation
- Experience in developing best in class content (proven by data)
- Experience with influencer marketing campaign development and execution (retail and national level)
- Deeply engaged in culture and a deep knowledge of all social media platforms – able to translate how Dove can create relevant content for agility
- Strong negotiation skills and industry knowledge of trends, best practices & innovations
- Has a passion for execution: Excellent analytical skills and high degree of business acumen
- Strong organizational, communication and presentation skills to tell actionable stories with data
- A true lover of data; highly analytical yet creative with the ability to problem-solve and trouble-shoot
- Strong project management skills: Proven ability to oversee and track multiple projects with various due dates and varying requirements and priorities in a highly challenging environment.
- Ability to work in a challenging environment, quick decision making informed by data
- Energetically curious and driven by the desire to learn about competitors and competitive strategies that deliver results to meet constantly changing needs
- Always challenging the current situation for ways to improve using data to form insights into action
- Demonstrated commitment to being accountable for delivered results plus the ability and initiative to accept elevated levels of delegated responsibility; the ability to work autonomously and with senior stakeholders
