Dorm Responsibilities:

  • Supervise safety and development of the residential students under their care in the evenings and on weekends
  • Report all issues to Office and facilitate any prescribed treatment and reporting required.
  • Plan and implement programs and activities for the residents.
  • Support the overall operations of the Residence Hall and perform certain responsibilities, as needed. This may include cleaning up or similar tasks.

Cleaner Responsibilities:

  • The purpose of this position to clean, sanitize and disinfect rooms and lobby areas.
  • Checklist throughout the shift managing “lobby”, “classrooms”, “kitchen areas”, “common areas” and “dormitory”.

AREAS OF PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Clean, stock and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc.).
  • Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities.
  • Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects.
  • Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs.
  • Make adjustments and minor repairs.
  • Stock and maintain supply rooms.
  • Cooperate with the rest of the staff.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Very good communication skills.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Day, evening and weekend work ... 3pm to 11pm
  • Must supply Criminal Record Check.
  • Must be currently able to work in Canada or hold a Canadian employment visa.

Term: Begin September 2025

Salary: $20 + per hour, based on experience.
