We're now seeking an IT Project Sites Engineer (2nd / 3rd Line) to join our team and support critical infrastructure delivery and support across our Scottish project sites.
About The Role You'll be the technical lead for site IT implementation and support across a range of dynamic and complex construction environments. You'll work directly with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and project teams to ensure robust, cost-effective, and timely delivery of IT services and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities Project Delivery & Implementation:
- Design and implement site-specific IT solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
- Create IT charters, cost models, and project plans in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Manage project timelines, risks, and documentation with high accuracy.
- Act as a liaison between business and IT teams for smooth rollout.
User Support & Infrastructure
- Provide second & third line support for infrastructure and applications.
- Troubleshoot complex issues in collaboration with support teams and vendors.
- Lead infrastructure reviews and remediation activities post-implementation.
- Maintain compliance with IT Group standards and ensure operational readiness.
Technical Knowledge What You'll Need to Succeed
- Expert understanding of Active Directory / Entra ID, WAN technologies, SharePoint, Teams, Meraki, and SDWAN.
- Proficient with Microsoft enterprise suite and IP networking (including switch config and wireless).
- Strong grasp of IT infrastructure, hardware, and OS environments.
Core Competencies
- Proven experience in ITIL-aligned environments (Incident, Change & Problem Management).
- Excellent communication skills—able to explain complex systems to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong project management and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and manage competing priorities.
- Experience delivering in multi-site, multi-discipline, and high-pressure environments.

- Minimum 2 years in a corporate IT implementation/support role.
