About the role

Hi Potential Co-Worker,

My name is Madison. I'm the Founder and COO at AdmissionPrep.

One of our initiatives this year is to hire top students across Canada who are interested in entrepreneurship.

If you are a current university student residing in Canada and are interested in entrepreneurship, business, or sales, this might be your role!

The details:

  • Must be a current university student enrolled in a business program in Canada who is looking for a full-time co-op or internship position starting in September of 2025
  • Must be a Canadian Citizen
  • Bonus if you have the ability to begin training in August on a part-time basis, ahead of the full-time role commencing in September
  • Length of Role: This role will be full-time at 30-35 hours per week and will run from September to December, with the opportunity to extend beyond that.
  • Compensation: The role pays an hourly rate plus commission and is great for those interested in entrepreneurship or sales.
  • Location: Remote (or in the office if you’d like to be in the office in Vancouver)
  • Job type: Full-Time
  • Work hours: You will be scheduled between the hours of 3pm PST - 8pm PST during weekdays or anytime between 6am to 6pm on weekends.

Responsibilities:

  • You will learn about our product offerings and help families choose the one that best suits their needs.
  • You will book 3-4 daily calls with interested students and families and then take those consultations to enrol them in our programs.
  • Use your good-natured wit and charm to build relationships with students and their families.
  • Successfully support students in navigating challenges they may face when planning their post-secondary education.
  • Manage inbound customer inquiries by phoning up to 100 interested families daily who have questions about our support.
  • Work closely with the team to ensure our CRM is maintained and optimized.
  • Nurture students to educate them on their opportunities.
  • Use internal tools to track activity and outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing education in business/entrepreneurship
  • Have high energy, a positive attitude and are passionate about helping students
  • Have worked in customer-facing roles, either in sales or customer service
  • Are driven, self-motivated, and have a fantastic work ethic
  • Are results-oriented - will run through a wall to get stuff done
  • Are masters of efficiency, are highly organized, and love using technology to get things done quickly
  • Are self-starters who thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
