Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre (TPASC) is looking for 30 energetic, certified Lifeguards to join our team this fall! Whether you're a student, athlete, or just passionate about aquatic safety, we offer more than just a job - we offer a chance to be part of something bigger.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
· Current certifications in:
o National Lifeguard
o Standard First Aid with CPR-C (from Lifesaving Society, Red Cross, or St. John’s Ambulance)
· 1+ year of lifeguarding experience is a bonus, but not required.
· Great communicator with strong customer service skills.
· A team player who can also support event setups, pool transitions, and more.
· Calm under pressure and confident in emergency situations.
· Physically ready to perform lifeguard fitness and rescue skills.
Bonus: We’ll cover the cost of your Vulnerable Sector Check!
HOURS OF WORK:
We’re open 4:30am–11:30pm, 7 days a week, and offer flexible shift options:
Examples: 4:30am–9:30am, 8:00am–4:00pm, 11:00am–7:00pm, 7:00pm–11:00pm, 11:00pm–2:00am, etc.

A legacy of the 2015 Toronto Pan Am and Parapan Am Games, Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre is operated by a corporation co-owned by the City of Toronto and the University of Toronto. The world-class facility was the largest sport new-build for the Games and the largest infrastructure investment in Canadian amateur sport history. Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre delivers extensive programming that serves recreational and community groups, university students, high performance athletes, as well as fitness centre clientele. The building’s 312,000 square-feet includes two internationally sanctioned 10-lane 50-metre pools, a world-class dive pool and dry-land dive training facilities, a four-court gymnasium, a rock-climbing wall, an indoor running track, conditioning rooms, a high-performance testing centre, studio spaces, and a state-of-the-art fitness centre for members. The Canadian Sport Institute Ontario (CSIO) is located at Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre and provides world-leading sport science and sport performance services. Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre opened to community users, University of Toronto faculty, staff and students, City of Toronto program users and high performance in September 2014.

About Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre
The Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre is the largest sport new-build for the Pan Am Games and the largest investment ever in Canadian amateur sport history.
The Aquatics Centre includes two internationally sanctioned 10-lane, 50-metre pools (including bulkheads); a 5-metre deep diving tank with 3-metre, 5-metre, 7.5-metre and 10-metre platforms; and dry-land dive training facilities.
It doubles the number of Olympic-sized pools in the Greater Toronto Area. Moreover, with its other features, the Centre is the sole aquatics facility in the region that meets the latest international competition standards and will be the first facility with the required warm-up pool.
The Field House features flexible gymnasium space for training and competition, as well as an indoor recreational track and fitness area with cardio and weightlifting facilities.
The Canadian Sport Institute of Ontario (CSIO) is relocating its head office here, providing world-leading sport science and sport performance services including coaching and training facilities.
