Responsibilities
- Design and develop test plans, test cases, and tests from documentation for VLT system
- Design and develop tests suitable for various stages of the software lifecycle
- Executing tests
- Record, report, and track defects to accurately depict the status of the product
- Secure, organize, and maintain the test laboratory and tools in good working order
- Assist in coordinating, preparing, and presenting software products to customers
- Train and coordinate the work of junior resources
- Participates in project meetings and meetings with customers
- Participates in inspections and reviews
- Collaborate with other teams and disciplines
- Identify, escalate and mitigate risks related to software quality
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, College Diploma in related discipline or equivalent experience
- 5+ years' experience in software testing, test planning, and test case design
- Previous experience leading a team
- Experience in integration, functional, regression, acceptance testing
- Experience with REST API testing
- Experience of Kubernetes, docker, EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service)
- Experience of SQL to independently create database queries
- Experience with software test design, planning and execution
- Experience with bug tracking and test management tools such as JIRA, XRay or similar
- Knowledge of the Linux Operating System
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and XPath. Ability to analyze web pages.
- Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment tools such as Jenkins or GitHub to integrate automated testing into the development pipeline.
- Knowledge of software testing methodologies, testing processes, and agile development processes.
