Senior Consultant, Data & Records Management Office
Terms: 6 month rolling contract
Organization: Top 5 Bank
Location: hybrid model, 2 days per week in office (Downtown Toronto)
Role Overview: As a Senior Consultant , you’ll lead data governance and records management initiatives, ensuring compliance with enterprise policies and regulatory standards. You’ll act as a subject matter expert, advising stakeholders, analyzing processes, and presenting key insights to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Create reports and presentations for senior management on data/records activities, metrics, and compliance.
- Provide consultative support to improve business processes and ensure policy alignment.
- Monitor adherence to data governance standards across the organization.
- Collaborate with business and tech teams to align data practices with regulatory changes.
- Lead strategic analysis, support audits, and drive process improvements.
- Represent EDRMO in meetings and provide expert guidance on data lifecycle management.
What You Bring
- 5+ years in financial services, government, or data governance.
- Strong knowledge of compliance, risk, and records management.
- Experience with enterprise data governance programs and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
- Relevant education (e.g., CA, CMA, MBA, CIA, CISA); data governance certifications preferred.
