Senior Manager, Insights – About this role

Working closely with Managers, Analysts, Director and Senior Management on their team, we are looking for a team member at the Senior Manager level to provide essential support to their team to help execute and deliver client projects. The Senior Manager (5+ years) would have experience in a research role and will be responsible for moderating, project management and developing the research report including strategic insights/research findings to their Director and VP. The ideal candidate has demonstrated their research skills and knowledge, extremely high standards of analytical excellence, and client service capabilities in their previous role(s). They can be relied on for project updates, recommendations on additional analysis required, working with other Dig team members to develop solutions to any project related problems and troubleshoot any issues that arise. In addition to growing their fundamental skill set as a researcher, the Senior Manager at Dig is encouraged to take part in our company’s exciting culture and enjoy this dynamic stage in their career.

Your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Executing all aspects of a qualitative research project from start to finish. This includes project design, developing screener and guides, overseeing screener and online research programming and testing, facilitation of qualitative research, monitoring fieldwork and insights collection, performing analysis, and writing reports.
  • Moderating one-on-one interviews and boards. Experience moderating focus groups is a plus.
  • Overseeing project management and ensuring timely, quality deliverables at a high standard according to project design and business objectives.
  • Performing secondary research to support primary research-based implications and develop topic expertise.
  • Managing field suppliers to ensure that projects are delivered on time and on budget.
  • Contributing to client meetings as an active participant in delivering superior client service.
  • Act as contact in support of Senior Management.

Experience, Skills and Requirements:

  • 5 + years (Senior Manager) of direct and relevant experience with the entirety of the project life cycle, understanding key milestones and project management tasks required at each stage.
  • University Degree and/or Post-Graduate Certificate in a relevant field (Market Research, Business Insights, Marketing, Social Sciences or other)
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and oral are required.
  • Fluency in French spoken and written is a plus.
  • Screener, Discussion Guide and Report writing experience alongside ability to analyze Qual Insights.
  • Moderation experience is an asset.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office Suite are required.
  • Comfort with online qualitative tools is an asset, video and photo editing skills are a plus.
  • Able to work within a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines, while maintaining close attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team, with solid time management and personal accountability for task completion.
  • Entrepreneurial, proactive, and solutions oriented.
  • Enjoys having conversations with others, naturally inquisitive and curious.
