About the Opportunity
As a member of the team, the Physician Assistant (PA) reports to the Primary Supervising Physician and functions within a dynamic collaborative care team. Under the supervision of a surgeon/physician, the PA will provide general medical and surgical care to patients with a wide variety of traumatic injuries, acute conditions, and elective surgical disorders. This position will offer the PA an opportunity to work to full scope of practice as outlined in the agreement between the primary supervising physician and the PA.
About You
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Canadian Certified Physician Assistant (CCPA), granted by the Physician Assistants Certification Council of the Canadian Association of Physician Assistants
- Three to five years of professional experience in a similar related academic health care environment
- Experience in the surgical environment, Operating Room, inpatients and outpatient's settings preferred

Hours
- Permanent Part Time / 45 hours bi-weekly
Compensation and Benefits
$46.36 - $61.60 hourly
Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan
