You Are:

A Technology Strategy consulting guru with extensive experience in creating technology-led business strategies and top-flight leadership and management skills. Your expertise? Advising clients on data-driven technology strategies to transform their business operations or business model so they can exceed their strategic, financial, and operational goals. You are a curious leader who can connect with and advise senior clients through storytelling and strong domain knowledge. As a senior manager, you will be a coach to develop our up-and-coming leaders in their careers, and an orchestrator of our diverse multi-disciplinary workforces to solve our client’s challenges.

The Work:

  • Assess clients’ business options in the context of global, industry, economic, technology, and social trends.

  • Day to day delivery leader on short high impact strategies (why, how, value, and approach) for our client’s senior teams (SVP to C-suite); leading small teams of motivated generalists and deep specialists

  • Manage and oversee the definition of the practices, processes, toolsets, and operations for one or more transformation domains, owning delivery of engagements end-to-end

  • Executive oversight and client relationship management of diverse delivery teams working with mid-level clients

  • Identify, orchestrate, and drive new sales opportunities with Managing Director Support (incremental and new)

  • Ensure clients are positioned for long-term success with practical road maps for carrying out Digital, IT or Cloud strategy, managing change, monitoring and gauging processes, and taking remedial steps.

  • Earn the trust of senior leaders at client organizations and partner with them to create strategic solutions at the intersection of business, technology, and operations.

  • Build relationships with clients to raise Accenture’s profile as a long-term trusted advisor and partner

  • Fortify Accenture’s Technology Strategy practice and role as a thought leader by creating content and taking part in professional forums, both internal and external.

  • Lead projects that deliver world-class business technology strategy solutions.

  • Mentor junior members of the strategy team and position them for future growth.

  • Provide upfront strategic thinking and framework and develop / implement new strategic frameworks that are centered on the needs of both business and technology

Here’s What You Need:

  • Minimum 7 years of strategy consulting experience at a consulting firm
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in at least 2 of the example offerings (Cloud Transformation, Industry & New Technology, Technology ROI/Cost Take Out, Operating Model, Modern Architecture, Data-Driven Enterprise
  • Minimum 5 years of experience writing business cases (quantitative and qualitative) to support strategic business initiatives, process improvement initiatives, or IT transformation
  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading or managing large teams effectively including planning/structuring analytical work, facilitating team workshops, and developing technology strategy recommendations
  • Curiosity about technology and its influences on business and work
  • Experience advising senior leaders and leading small high impact teams
  • Desire to coach and mentor others
  • Ability to travel and work in Canada
  • Bachelor’s degree

  • You have an MBA or equivalent graduate degree
  • You have broad, diverse experience and knowledge of major technologies (legacy to emerging)
  • You’re a natural at building, managing, and fostering teams
  • You have top-notch communication (written and oral) and people skills
  • You have managed end-to-end projects and have reported and escalated to top levels
  • You can manage budgeting and forecasting activities and build financial proposals
