Lacasse Counselling offers individual and couples psychotherapy services, specializing in the treatment of addiction, mental health, and relationship challenges in downtown Ottawa. Our goal is to provide an in-depth therapeutic process that goes beyond symptom management, grounded in psychodynamic theories and developmental psychology.

Responsibilities:

• Provide couples therapy sessions to clients, both in-person and online.
• Utilize psychodynamic and developmental psychology approaches.
• Maintain client records using our practice management application (JaneApp).

What you bring:

• Master's Degree in Psychotherapy
• Registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (in good standing; full RP or Qualifying status).
• Professional Liability Insurance.
• Proficient in both English and French (bilingual).
• Experience in a clinical setting, with a focus on couples therapy.
• Strong initiative and ability to work autonomously.
• Excellent conceptualization skills.
• Client-centered approach.
• Ability to provide a minimum of 15 hours of direct client contact per week (hours not guaranteed due to contractor role).
• Availability to accommodate clients' preferences for in-office or online sessions.
