Job Title: Data Analyst – On-Premise Master Data
Location: Calgary, AB
Type: T4/INC Contract (6 months with possibility for extension or permanent hire)
Work Setup: On-site (5/40 Monday - Friday)

Job Summary
Airswift is seeking a detail-driven Data Analyst to join one of our major clients in the energy sector. This position focuses on on-premise master data environments , supporting core business functions through accurate data reporting, analysis, and governance.
This is not a cloud or data science role, it’s ideal for professionals experienced with ERP systems, SQL-based reporting, and master data management within structured enterprise IT ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and maintain master data (customers, vendors, materials, assets) across on-premise enterprise systems
- Conduct data profiling , validation, and cleansing to ensure consistency and accuracy
- Generate reports and dashboards using Excel , Power BI , and other enterprise tools
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to define data requirements and address quality issues
- Document data definitions, flow diagrams, and processes for cross-functional clarity
- Participate in data migration, integration, and transformation activities within ERP platforms
- Support and enforce data governance policies and quality control standards
Basic / Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Data Analysis within on-premise enterprise environments
- Strong proficiency in SQL for querying, validation, and reporting
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle EBS, or JD Edwards
- Familiarity with master data domains and MDM practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or other reporting tools
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Legally authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ETL tools like Informatica or SSIS (on-premise context)
- Exposure to data governance frameworks and enterprise data policies
- Knowledge of data warehousing and traditional BI environments
- Prior experience in energy, utilities, or manufacturing sectors
