**Overview:**

The Power Centre, a locally owned and operated Audio/Video and Appliance retail store in Thunder Bay, is seeking a dedicated Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. Since 1988, we have been specializing in brand name electronics and professional commercial and residential installations, with a strong emphasis on exceptional customer service.

**Duties:**

• Greet customers warmly as they enter the store, creating a welcoming environment

• Provide excellent customer service by prioritizing customer needs and addressing inquiries

• Maximize sales opportunities to meet store targets

• Maintain consistent visual merchandising and housekeeping standards

• Adhere to operating and security procedures diligently

• Stay updated on product information, promotions, and rewards programs

• Execute opening and closing procedures efficiently

**Skills:**

• Customer service-oriented with a passion for sales

• Ability to upsell products effectively

• Proficient in technology sales and product demonstrations

• Excellent communication skills to interact with customers

• Experience in cashiering and handling transactions

• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively

• Prior experience in retail sales is preferred
