Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end proposal development process, from initial opportunity identification, assessment and strategy formulation to final submission and presentation, ensuring alignment with client requirements, project objectives, and firm standards.
- Help to conduct market research on specific clients and their business objectives to better inform targeted proposal material development.
- Manage and update the region’s project data sheets, resumes, and marketing materials.
- Maintain Oracle Opportunities database and ensure all proposal activity is recorded in the system.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including architects, designers, and project managers, to create compelling proposals, marketing materials, presentations, and project case studies highlighting A49’s portfolio and expertise.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in architecture, design, and marketing, and integrate relevant insights into our marketing material/ proposals.
- Work collaboratively with other proposal team members across the country and work serve as a resource for students and other young professionals to help them gain marketing experience.
Qualifications
- Degree in marketing, communications, journalism, public relations, or equivalent experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including editing and proofreading abilities
- Experience working in a deadline-driven, team-oriented environment
- Strong organizational, time management, and technical skills
- Experience in writing and storytelling
- Preference given to candidates with 5+ years experience
- Previous experience in engineering, architectural, or professional services firms is considered an asset
- Understanding of graphic design principles and use of Adobe Creative suite (InDesign)
- Bilingual (English and French) is considered an asset
