About the role
Title: Energy Conservation Business Solutions Advisor (Financial Analyst)
Location: Chatham, ON
Hybrid Model: In-Office (Monday, Tuesday & Thursday) Remote (Wednesday & Friday)
Responsibilities:
• Summarize, review and reconcile financial costs for monthly reporting
• Upload data and confirm accurate support has been included
• Prepare journal entries
• Code invoices
• Perform account reconciliations and financial analysis
• Assist with preparing and reviewing legal contracts
• Assist with year-end financial reporting activities
• Support ad-hoc inquiries as needed
Required:
• Accounting, Finance, Business, or Economics Degree (or similar educational experience)
• 4+ years of related Energy Conservation or industry experience
• Advanced Excel skills, proficient with Power BI
• Strong quantitative skills; proficient in analyzing and manipulating data
• Sound judgement and critical thinking skills
• Familiarity with accounting principles, journal entries and ability to conduct financial analysis
• Detail oriented with proven ability to manage multiple processes, handle competing priorities and meet deadlines
• A self-starter who is driven and possesses strong interpersonal verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently
Travel Requirements: Occasional travel to London, North York or other locations in Southwestern Ontario for team meetings.
Hours of work : 40 hours a week, 8-4:30, 8:30-5:00 or 9-5:30
