Job Summary:

Fleet Canada is seeking motivated and driven Project Managers with strong leadership skills to support our team in executing program launch initiatives from start to finish. In this role, you will collaborate with a team of program and project managers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational goals.

The ideal candidate has experience working with cross-functional teams, excels in organization and analysis, and thrives in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This position requires independence, resourcefulness, initiative, and resilience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead internal project planning and execution across engineering, production, and quality departments.
  • Facilitate regular project meetings, track progress, and ensure alignment across teams.
  • Identify risks and resolve project issues to keep initiatives on track.
  • Monitor project performance and report updates to leadership with timely clear metrics and insights.
  • Analyze and interpret large task lists and parts from bills of materials to inform decisions and identify areas for improvement.
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying process gaps and proposing effective solutions.
  • Promote team collaboration, accountability, and clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • 4 years of experience in a project-based environment is preferred – but not required.
  • Proven ability to work with and analyze large task lists and parts from bills of materials.
  • Strong understanding of project lifecycle management and risk assessment.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Highly analytical, resourceful, and self-motivated.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel required); experience with Microsoft Project or similar tools is an asset.
  • Education in Engineering, Business, or a related technical field is preferred, but not required.
