Your role at Clorox: The Process Specialist plays a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and continuous improvement within our manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for analyzing and enhancing Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), leading key initiatives under the continuous improvement framework. By fostering a culture of safety, quality, and efficiency, the CI Process Specialist will contribute significantly to our mission of achieving superior production performance and maintaining high standards of operational reliability.
This role is part of a team that supports plant operations to efficiently prioritize Safety, Quality, and Production through implementation of Manufacturing Excellence with TRACC systems and processes.
In this role, you will:
- Developing processes to support plant operations. This includes, but is not limited to the following: Project Governance. Daily Problem Solving (DPS), Short-Interval Control procedures, troubleshooting guide refinement and organization, CIL, Centerlines, and QC auditing procedures and standards, Ops Readiness, and Skill Block progression/development, etc.
- Lead Continuous Improvement activities under the continuous improvement framework, by supporting Project Governance activities. A primary function this role is coaching and participation with work teams on Project Governance activities. The individual will be a key player (and participant) in coaching and developing. Will be attending Tier 1, 2 and 3 meetings on a defined schedule, providing respective teams coaching. This position will sit on respective Implementation Task Force (ITF) and Site Steering Committee (SSC) teams. Will need to develop familiarity with and become an expert in using, training and navigating within the TRACC platform.
- Support change management and Ops Readiness for the plant by learning processes, working with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and developing best practices. May also lead improvement and capital projects.
- Lead by example in supporting the site’s safety principles and programs. Champion the site Quality strategy by documenting and maintaining process capability for product specifications. Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards, fostering a culture of safety and quality throughout the facility.
What we look for: Years and Type of Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or Minimum of 5 years equivalent job experience
- Experience with use of the following applications: Microsoft Apps, Microsoft Teams and preferred experience with TRACC, LEDS, Power BI
- Ability to influence without authority and keep teams on task
- Effective organizational skills
- Continuous Improvement exposure and experience
- Self-motivated and strong self-starter
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities
- Proven leadership experience developing skillsets in others.
