Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Gas Station Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while ensuring the smooth operation of the gas station. This role requires a strong focus on customer satisfaction, attention to detail, and the ability to manage various tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Help manager in store ordering and manage employees.
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their fuel and convenience store purchases.
- Operate cash registers, handle cash transactions, and maintain accurate cash handling practices.
- Monitor fuel levels and ensure that pumps are functioning correctly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the gas station premises, including the convenience store area.
- Assist in inventory management by restocking shelves and conducting regular inventory checks.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Supervise junior staff members as needed and assist with training new employees.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Experience
- Responsible and reliable.
- Previous experience in retail management or store management is preferred.
- Strong cash handling skills with a solid understanding of basic math for pricing and transactions.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers.
- Experience in supervising or leading a team is advantageous.
- Ability to negotiate effectively in various situations while maintaining professionalism.
- Familiarity with interviewing techniques is a plus for potential future hiring responsibilities.
