JOB DESCRIPTION
Rollins Machinery, a lower mainland-based equipment distributor, is growing in a big way and we are currently looking for a motivated, experienced individual to fill a Golf & Turf Maintenance Equipment Sales Representative position based out of our new Calgary , Alberta facility. This role will require the right candidate to take ownership of sales in Alberta and Saskatchewan, and have an aggressive approach to growing the business.

SALARY
- Estimated $100,000 - $130,000+ annually (combining salary and commissions), based on experience, skills and qualifications.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive sales of equipment within our newly acquired territories, Alberta and Saskatchewan, meeting and exceeding sales revenue objectives.
- Specific equipment focus will be golf & turf , as we are the dealer for Baroness (new to Canada). Baroness offer a range of professional turf & maintenance equipment for sports turf, with a particular focus on golf courses (fairway mowers, rough mowers, etc.). We are also the dealer for complementary brands Turfco , Tru-Turf , Yanmar tractors, and Pik’r Driving Range Pickers.
- Additional equipment this role is tasked with selling is light industrial equipment such as Multihog. It is an exciting line of multi-purpose machines ranging from street sweepers to snow clearing, asphalt repair and hedge cutting. With key customers being cities and airports.
- Conduct in-person visits to businesses (such as golf courses, municipalities, airports, and highways) to identify potential opportunities and build rapport with customers.
- Aid in setting up new branch facility, assist in the company’s growth plan for Alberta and Saskatchewan.
- Maintain accurate paperwork at all stages of the sales process, adhering to the Company's policies and procedures.
- Lead product demonstrations and actively participate in trade shows to showcase our equipment’s’ capabilities.
- Collaborate closely with the parts and service departments to ensure customer satisfaction and comprehensive support .
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of sales experience (golf & turf maintenance / mowing equipment sales experience is preferred, and considered an asset).
- Valid driver’s licence with clean abstract (to be provided upon employment).
- Understanding of the equipment sector that Rollins represents is considered an asset (golf & turf, snow & ice removal, mowing, roadside maintenance).
- Capable of designing personalized financing solutions in collaboration with the Company's financing partners.
- Transport equipment throughout Alberta and Saskatchewan, with a provided pickup & trailer, for demonstration and delivery purposes.
- Excellent communication skills, adept at building and maintaining customer relationships.
- Skilled negotiator who creates win-win situations.
- Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and work flexible hours.
- Ambitious, self-driven, team player, results oriented, and positive work ethic.
- Proficient with computer applications such as Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.), as well as familiarity with general CRM software. Experience with Zoho CRM is a bonus.
