Role Overview
We are looking for a Microsoft Cloud Sales Leader for Canada to be our first dedicated sales hire in this market. This is not an entry-level account manager role—we want an experienced professional who understands the Microsoft partner ecosystem in Canada, has sold Microsoft Cloud services, and can develop the territory with us from the ground up.
You will be expected to lead sales strategy, build pipeline, collaborate directly with Microsoft field teams, and close services deals to help us meet our Year 1 revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive new business sales for Microsoft Cloud professional services across Canada, with a focus on Azure, Data & AI, and App Innovation.
- Build and manage a qualified pipeline of opportunities through direct outreach, partner referrals, and field networking.
- Engage and develop trusted relationships with Microsoft field sellers, PDMs, and partner teams to unlock co-sell opportunities.
- Design and execute territory plans aligned with quarterly revenue targets.
- Conduct consultative sales engagements with enterprise and mid-market customers to identify business needs and propose tailored Microsoft solutions.
- Work closely with delivery leadership to scope, price, and win services projects.
- Contribute to atQor’s growth strategy in Canada by recommending go-to-market tactics and building early sales foundations.
What We’re Looking For
- Current or recent experience selling Microsoft Cloud services (Azure, Data & AI) in Canada.
- Experience with Microsoft Partner ecosystem: You’ve worked for a Microsoft partner, know how to co-sell, and understand how to navigate Microsoft’s Canada field teams.
- Existing relationships or familiarity with Microsoft sellers in Canada is a big plus.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding services revenue quotas ($2M–$3M+ annually).
- Ability to work independently in a start-up environment with the backing of a mature Microsoft partner organization.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-starter comfortable building and managing pipeline from scratch.
- Located in Canada, preferably Ontario (Greater Toronto Area).
